Cleanse Program

The human body is amazing and miraculous. Unfortunately, the body cannot function at peak performance and live up to its miraculous potential if it is clogged with impurities and is nutritionally bankrupt. We are constantly bombarded with impurities from the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. Our drinking water alone contains over 700 chemicals! Our animal and dairy products carry antibiotics, steroids and hormones. Vegetables and fruits contain residues from pesticides. The cleaning products, skin care products and toiletries we use daily can contain hormones and chemicals. Many cities have air that is labeled unsafe to breathe for physical activity or for the young or infirmed. Impurities are linked with many of the health problems and illnesses we see every day.

As if the excess of impurities we confront every day weren’t bad enough, we also are faced with nutritionally bankrupt soil in the U.S. A U.S. Senate study found that the spinach we eat today has significantly less nutritional value than the spinach people ate only 100 years ago. Much of our food is chemically altered or chemically processed and the nutritional value is decreased. Our bodies are literally begging for nutrition!

What happens to all of the impurities once we encounter them? A study done by the Environmental Protection Agency found that our bodies hold onto the impurities in our fat cells. The question is not “Are we exposed to impurities?” but rather “How many impurities are we exposed to and what is the effect they have on us?” It’s no wonder that Americans are over-fed, undernourished and over-medicated!

Internal cleansing of the body has been practiced by many cultures over the course of human history. Even today, 60 percent of all cultures follow some form of internal cleansing.

Why does fat accumulate?

German M.D. and homeopath Dr. Hans Reckewig postulated the theory of homotoxicology to explain how the human body responds to impurities. When one first encounters impurities, the body tries to excrete them. Consider how the body reacts with itchy eyes and a runny nose during cedar or ragweed season. Often times, this then turns into congestion as the body inflames after failing to rid itself of the impurities. If the “heat” from the inflammation does not destroy the impurities, the body deposits it into the fat cells. Over time, these deposits grow and cellular structure changes until the cell can no longer function. The “enrobing” of impurities in fat is the body’s natural defense mechanism for failing to rid itself of the impurities. It is for this reason that obesity is now considered an inflammatory disease.

A whopping 98% of diet products fail to produce lasting weight loss. Why? These products do not rid the body of the impurities stored in fat cells. Consider all the people you have known that lose weight on a diet plan, then gain it back plus more. Unless impurities are cleansed from the body at a cellular level, most people will continue on this “yo-yo” diet plan. Hence, most diet plans fail.

Unfortunately, most diet products also contain purgatives or stimulants that weaken our already overtaxed adrenal systems.

In my clinical experience, my overweight clients are often uncomfortable because they are inflamed. Did you know that stiffness is an early sign of inflammation? Ridding the body of impurities can help reduce discomfort.

How does the body cleanse?

The liver, kidney, lung and skin are the body’s filters. Just as a car or air conditioning filter gets clogged, so do our organs of elimination when overworked. Most cleansing products are targeted at cleansing a particular organ, such as the colon or the liver. While cleansing an organ is helpful, it does not affect the impurities stored in the fat cells.

The only way to help the body get rid of these stored-up impurities is by cleansing the body at the cellular level. When the stored impurities are reduced or eliminated, an amazing transformation occurs - the body burns fat! Weight loss occurs rapidly, safely and naturally.
