About the HeartMath Group USA.
HeartMath USA is the originator of the HeartMath
technologies and methodologies. Founded in 1991 as
a non-profit research organisation (HeartMath Research
Centre, IHM, www.heartmath.org), HeartMath has earned
global recognition for their unique research-based
techniques and proprietary technology to transform
the stress of change and uncertainty, and bring coherence
and renewed energy to the workplace, the healthcare
centre and the home.
The Institute of HeartMath USA is a nonprofit 501
(c) (3) research and education organisation. Their
primary mission is to facilitate people in finding
the balance between mind and heart in life's decisions.
Through many years of research, IHM has developed
what is now known as the HeartMath System: a set of
practical techniques and technologies to help people
transmute stress and negative emotions in the moment
they occur during the day, and to improve performance
and enrich the quality of life.
By 1997 their corporate solutions had gained increasing
success and impact, and they founded HeartMath LLC.
Their easy-to-use solutions dramatically--and quantifiably--boost
performance and health for both the individual and
the organisation. HeartMath programs have now been
used by more than 100,000 executives, managers, staff,
physicians, educators, health professionals, athletes,
as well as individuals dedicated to improving their
performance, health and well-being.
The HeartMath Training and consulting company HeartMath
LLC today provides a range of unique services, products,
and technology to boost performance, productivity,
health and well-being while dramatically reducing
stress.
And through the Non-profit Institute HeartMath today
are working with schools and the education sector
developing resource material for educators, and students
in primary, secondary and tertiary schools, colleges
& institutions. They have received additional
funding ( more than Aud$2M) from the US government
to take their programs to a wide group of school counties
looking at ways to improve student learning outcomes,
as well as teacher and student retention.
Additional Background Information From HeartMath
LLC.
More than a decade of research, published in a variety
of peer-reviewed journals, confirms a single, fundamental
premise: Unleashing the full power of an organisation
starts with empowering the individual. When we're
internally self-managed – feeling balanced, in control,
and powerful--we make our greatest contribution. We
act, not react. We think creatively. We communicate
clearly. We manage well under pressure. We make good
decisions. Our most inspiring leadership qualities
emerge. When dozens, hundreds, thousands, of employees
work to that zone of peak performance, so does the
organisation.
HeartMath clinical studies have dramatically demonstrated
the critical link between emotion, heart function
and cognitive performance. HeartMath case studies
have proven significant business outcomes with measurable
improvements in leadership performance, sales effectiveness,
customer service, staff retention, cost reductions,
health, and overall performance.
Additionally, HeartMath has been internationally
recognized for providing leading-edge products and
programs for people interested in personal development
and improved emotional, mental and physical health.
Through our programs and products delivered by our
staff and through our network of alliance partners
and licensees, we are having a global impact on society,
helping the world move from chaos to coherence.

its products and services into five key markets - business,
health, sports, entertainment (games and toys), and
education (schools).
QI's flagship computer-based product, Freeze-Framer®,

balance) and provides precise, immediate feedback
to the user on that state. Users are then able to
understand and improve their autonomic responses through
QI's emotional management methodology called the HeartMath

their emotional state and reduce stress, thereby improving
health and performance. The System is based on ten
