What is Group Therapy?

Many of the personal problems individuals face stem from both past and current relationships with others, and how they feel about those relationships. The quality of one’s relationships often directly affects one’s life satisfaction and adjustment. Group therapy gives participants an opportunity to sort out questions and concerns about their relationships in a supportive and highly interactive setting

What is a Workshop?

The word "seminar" implies a situation in which individuals address issues relating to a selected topic. Each speaker presents a separate aspect of the main topic. Although the speakers have limited time allotment, the audience can benefit from hearing even a brief presentation from a large variety of speakers. The workshop, by contrast, has only one, or possibly, two speakers. Workshops require much more in-depth work with ample time devoted to one area of activity.

A "workshop" is thus defined as an "educational seminar or series of meetings emphasizing interaction and exchange of information among a usually small number of participants". In short, a workshop is an exchange of experiences of participants.

Our one-day groups are sometimes called workshops because they are educational, interactive as well as therapeutic.
